Mark your calendars for the 2026 State Tournament to be held February 13-14, 2026! The tournament will be back in Columbia, MO at the Columbia Sports Fieldhouse. Details will be added as they become available.

February 2026 marks the return of the Missouri State Homeschool Basketball Championship to Columbia, Missouri for the third year! We’re excited to once again welcome teams from across the region for a weekend of thrilling basketball and meaningful connections.

From fast breaks to nail-biting finishes, this tournament is all about the love of the game, friendly competition, and the camaraderie that makes events like this so special. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or new to homeschool basketball, you’ll find plenty to cheer for and enjoy.

The safety of our players, families, and fans is our top priority. In the event of inclement weather, any schedule changes, delays, or cancellations will be communicated promptly through the following channels:

Game Guidelines

Game Durations:

  • 18U: 8-minute quarters
  • 16U: 7-minute quarters
  • 14U & 12U: 6-minute quarters
  • 5-minute halftime
  • 2-minute overtime
  • Minimum 6-minute pre-game warm-up

Game Notes:

  • Games may start up to 10 minutes early.
  • Running clock if the lead is 30+ points in the fourth quarter for 16U/18U and 20+ points for 12U/14U.
  • On the 5th foul per quarter, teams will shoot 2 free throws on each foul for the rest of the quarter.
  • After the game, one person from each team will text in the court, scheduled game time, division, and score details. Example: Court 2 12:40 14UB Cardinals 50 Royals 24

Home Team Responsibilities:

  1. Listed on top of the bracket (or first on the schedule).
  2. Provides the game ball.
  3. Keeps the official book.
  4. Leads the opening prayer.

Home Team Uniform:

  • Wears White Uniforms.

Visiting Team Responsibilities:

  1. Listed on the bottom of the bracket (or second on the schedule).
  2. Runs the clock.

Visiting Team Uniform:

  • Wears Dark Uniforms.

3-Point Contests

Cost $10 per player
Sign up on site at information table before

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

  • Girls 14U
  • Girls 16U
  • Girls 18U
  • Boys 12U
  • Boys 14U
  • Boys 16U
  • Boys 18U

3-Point Contest Rules

  • 25 Maximum Points
  • 4 Balls @ 5 Spots around the Arc
  • 2 points for the 4th shot at each spot
  • In case of a tie, a shoot out will take place
  • 4 Prizes: (Girls 10-15) (Girls 16-18) (Boys 10-15) (Boys 16-18)

State Championship Apparel

T-shirts and hoodies will be available at the venue!  No pre-orders will be necessary. You can pay with cash or Paypal. If paying with Paypal, there will be a 3% fee.  Limited quantity available.
